Jayson Dirks
became a Registered Massage Therapist in 1995.  As an active registrant, he is qualified to assess and treat soft tissue pathologies using manual therapy, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise in medical treatment.  His private practice primarily involves the assessment and treatment of common regional orthopedic conditions.  Jayson has provided care for more than 25,000 medically necessary, physician-referred treatments.

Jayson also currently instructs at PCU College of Holistic Medicine in Burnaby where he teaches pre-natal and sports massage.  He also held various positions of Clinic Manager, Outreach Coordinator, Primary Instructor and Teaching Assistant at WCCMT in New Westminster from 2001-05.  Courses instructed included; Clinical Assessment, Clinical Management, Neuro-Assessment, General Orthopedics, Systemics, and Regional Orthopedics.  Jayson had also been called upon as a mock Oral/Practical examiner.   


In his spare time, Jayson works as a paid-on call firefighter with the City of Surrey for over 18 years!  He is recently married and has a 7 year old step-son.  Jayson is very active in the community and has highlighted some of his involvement below:
